Who we are

Xenstay (xenstay.online) brings travellers to stays in and around Marrakech: homes we manage as a concierge service, and homes listed by our partners, hosts on Airbnb.

Xenstay does not sell the stays and takes no payment. Booking and payment happen on Airbnb, which confirms the price, availability and cancellation terms. Xenstay is not affiliated with or endorsed by Airbnb.

Hosting

The site runs on a server provided by Contabo GmbH, in Germany.

What we collect

When you tap through to pay on Airbnb, the “Who is travelling?” form sends us:

• your full name and phone number;
• the stay, the dates, the number of guests and the price shown;
• the IP address and browser type of the device used.

Why

We use this to follow up your request and to know whether it led to a booking on Airbnb. To do that we compare the dates and the last 4 digits of your phone number with the stay's calendar.

The host of the stay concerned can see your name and phone number. We do not sell your information.

Cookies

The site uses:

• xenstay_locale: remembers your language (1 year);
• xs_consent: remembers your answer to the cookie banner (6 months);
• xs_v and xs_s: our own visit statistics (pages viewed, dates searched, clicks). They stay with us and are shared with no one. xs_v lasts 400 days and xs_s 30 minutes;
• Meta cookies (_fbp, _fbc): only if you accept. They measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. If you accept, we also send Meta your booking request, with your name and phone number hashed, and the booking if it is confirmed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information about you, or object to its use, by writing to contact@xenstay.online.

Once you are on Airbnb, Airbnb's privacy policy applies.
